Best shape of your life in 2026 (with less effort)


Hey Reader,

After 20+ years of coaching, here’s the pattern I keep seeing:

People don’t fail because they lack information. They fail because they try to fix everything at once.

Fat loss. Muscle. Cardio. Sleep. Supplements. Stress. Too many targets. No traction.

Getting in great shape doesn’t require more effort. It requires better order.

Here are the big levers:


1. Get honest about where you’re at

Not emotionally. Objectively.

Bodyweight trend. Waist measurement. Monthly photos. Bloodwork 1-2x a year.

Clarity comes before change.

Action: Get bloodwork done ASAP


2. Fix metabolic health first

Before optimization comes repair.

Protein-forward meals. Simple food. Consistent meal timing. Less excess body fat.

When this improves: Energy improves. Focus improves. Recovery improves.

Everything gets easier.

Action: 30-50grams of protein with every meal


3. Treat recovery like a skill

Sleep isn’t passive. It’s trained.

Earlier meals. Earlier bedtimes. Morning light. Consistent wind-down.

Small changes here solve a lot of “mystery” problems.

Action: No doom scrolling, TV, or blue lights 30+ mins before bed


4. Build and protect muscle

Strength training is non-negotiable.

3 days per week. 30–40 minutes. Nothing fancy.

Muscle supports metabolism. Joint health. Long-term resilience.

Action: Pick your 3 lifting days a week & make it non-negotiable


5. Move daily. Push occasionally.

Walk most days. Move at an easy pace.

Once a week, challenge yourself. Short. Intentional. Hard.

Control your nervous system.

Action: Walk/Move first in am well before 1 meal (earn it)


Don’t try to win January. Build something that still works in October.

Consistency beats intensity every time.
